 Photo and Printing Specs

All photos were made with Nikon 35mm cameras & lenses, using Fuji Velvia 50 slide film or Nikon digital cameras. The slides are scanned with a high-resolution drum scanner to produce 65mb to 100mb files, which produce high quality photographic prints. Digital camera files are resized to produce the same high quality prints. All photos are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Professional Glossy papers. The estimated shelf life is rated to be in excess of 60 years in independent testing. All prints are labeled on the back with Artist's name, title of print, and date of photograph. All prints are signed in the lower right hand corner.

Matting

High quality museum standard supplies are used for all orders. All mats are 4-ply acid free and have museum backboards. Acid-free linen hinging tape is used for mounting. Mats are available in white or black. 

Plaque Mounting

Image is professionally mounted to a 3/8” high-density fiberboard with beveled edge.  A special UV protective vinyl laminate is heat-pressed to the print. Plaque mounts come with either a black or white finished edge.

Wood Floats

The Wood Floats are the same as a plaque mount but has a ¾” frame on the backside to space image off the wall to give a floating effect.
